What should you do if you get a letter from the IRS or from a state or local government about taxes:
1) Fax, mail, send via the Client Portal, or drop off a copy of it to our office (see our contact information below for our mailing address and fax number). There is absolutely no charge to our clients for us to review correspondence so please send us all IRS or state letters you receive.
2) Read the letter. Sometimes letters do not require you to do anything...but send us the letter anyway.
3) Call our office to make sure we got the letter.
Once we get the letter, Matthew or Ryan will contact you within five business days to let you know how to respond.
