Here are a few things to know about our client portal and document sharing:
- Our portal is hosted by a company called Canopy and it's free to use and is only available to our clients.
- The client portal is the only way our office will send you sensitive documents. We do not email tax returns.
- It is also the only method we will accept for sensitive document sharing from our clients. For our security, and yours, we do not accept documents shared to us via Dropbox, Google Docs, or any other shared document platform.
- Documents in the portal are permanent storage so if you need copies of your tax returns or documents they are available there 24/7.
- E-sign your tax returns directly within the portal.
- You can pay invoices by credit/debit card or through ACH payments from within the portal too.
Don't own a document scanner? If you use the Canopy Portal app, you can use the camera on your phone or tablet to turn images into PDFs and upload them directly that way through the app!
