New Client Portal Has Arrived

We are super excited to be rolling out a brand new client portal system this month to replace our current client portal. Our new portal system is from a company called Canopy, and just like our current portal, it will be the most secure gateway for you to send us important documents and for us to send you important documents.

Here's some of the new features that come with the portal:

  • Permanent Document Storage -- That means once we upload something to you, it will stay there until we remove it. If you need a digital copy of your return, or the documents used to create it, they are now right at your fingertips 24/7/365.
  • Better Shared Access to your portal -- More than one email address can be linked to the same portal. Married clients can now use their own individual emails and their own individual passwords to access their shared documents. It also means we can allow access to others in the event you request someone else to upload documents for you such as a loved one or Power of Attorney.
  • One-stop-shop for completing your return -- E-sign and invoice payment is now in one easy-to-use space. 
  • We've got an App for that -- Full-featured Android and Apple apps allow you to access the portal from any smart device. Don't have a smart device? Don't worry, you can still get to the portal from any computer via our website.
  • Scan and send with the app -- The mobile app also comes with a scanner feature using your device's camera that allows you to instantly turn your documents into high-quality PDFs and upload them to us right away.

If you have an email address on file with us, we're going to email you an invitation to set up your client portal. Set-up is easy and should only take you a minute.  After the invitations are sent, our old portal system will officially be retired and clients should only be using the new Canopy portal either from the app or our website.
