Stacie Burdge

Enrolled Agent

With over 20 years of experience in accounting and tax preparation, Stacie has been a trusted professional in the field since 1993.  She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1992.

Stacie later went on to obtain her Enrolled Agent designation in 2018, enhancing her ability to represent clients before the IRS and providing expert guidance on complex tax matters.  Soon thereafter, she learned that Lincoln Tax Professionals had moved their office to their new location, very near to her home, and reached out to Matt and Ryan inquiring about any availability to take on a new preparer.  Although with Patrice still with the firm sadly there wasn’t space available to bring on someone new.  Matt did refer Stacie to a local firm that he was aware was searching for a new hire with her qualifications.  Thanks to his referral, she began working for Jim George at his CPA firm in Jefferson, Maryland that following week.  During her five years with Mr. George, Stacie enjoyed her role as an entity specialist, working mainly with small business clients performing numerous tasks including quarterly and annual bookkeeping review and tax preparation for both the businesses and their individual owners.

Having maintained close peer relationships with Matt and Ryan throughout those five years, Stacie eventually became aware of their need (finally!) for another preparer to join their staff and the plan was made for her to come on board in November of 2023.

She brings her extensive knowledge and commitment to delivering exceptional tax services and specializes in planning and consulting as well as helping individuals and small businesses navigate the intricacies of tax regulations with confidence.  Her dedication to ongoing education ensures that she stays current with the latest tax laws and best practices, allowing her to provide informed strategies that align with her client’s financial goals.  Stacie believes in building strong relationships based on trust and transparency, making her clients feel supported throughout the tax process.

Outside of work, Stacie enjoys time with her dogs, cooking (and eating!), reading, museum jaunts, and playing classical piano.
